Car Rental in Uvita: Monthly 4x4 Rentals With Insurance Included
Trinity Motors offers car rental in Uvita, with daily, weekly and discounted monthly rentals, and insurance included in every quoted price. The fleet runs from a small 2WD car to 4x4 Suzuki Jimnys, a Toyota Prado and an 11-seat van. Most long-term renters are people house-hunting or settling in on the south Pacific coast. You can book online or message on WhatsApp.
Who this is for
House-hunters. You are looking at homes and lots around Uvita, Dominical and Ojochal and need a 4x4 for a few weeks or months.
New arrivals. You have just moved and are not ready to buy yet.
Long-stay visitors. You are here for a season and want one car, one price and no surprise insurance charge at the counter.
Buyers waiting on a car. Your purchase is being sourced or delivered, and you need wheels in the meantime.
Long-term and monthly car rental
Trinity's rentals are built around longer stays. Weekly and monthly rentals get automatic discounts, and long-term periods get bigger ones. Trinity also price matches competitive rates. For a month or longer, message on WhatsApp for a long-term quote rather than booking day by day.
“I was renting a vehicle from one of the big boys, extremely expensive. So I decided to purchase a vehicle… They found me a reasonably priced vehicle in short order.” — Carl M., Google review
The rental fleet
Suzuki S-Presso 2WD. Small and fuel-efficient, for paved roads and town errands.
Suzuki Jimny 4x4, 3-door. Compact and capable on steep, narrow gravel roads.
Suzuki Jimny 4x4, 5-door. The same ability with more room for passengers and bags.
Hyundai Santa Fe. A midsize SUV for families.
Toyota Prado. A full-size 4x4 SUV for rough roads and long drives.
Hyundai Staria. An 11-seat van for groups.
If the house you are viewing sits up a steep dirt road, pick a 4x4. In rainy season, that matters even more.
Rent before you buy
Renting from a dealer has one advantage the big rental companies cannot offer. You can live with a vehicle on your actual roads before you commit to buying one. Drive a Jimny up your driveway for a month. Load a Prado with your family for a week. Then decide what to buy with real experience behind you. Trinity sells the same kinds of vehicles it rents, so moving from renting to owning is one conversation.
